ISABEL  AROCENA







Isabel Arocena was raised under the influence of the sculptor Oteiza, who was closely linked to her family. She was educated in architecture between Lisbon, Belgium, and Madrid. She later moved to Rome to collaborate with the Royal Academy of Spain. During this collaboration, she also worked in thecultural office of the Spanish Embassy and later for theUNESCO heritage organization. Throughout this time, she never stopped creating and exhibiting, until in 2020 she found her greatest form of expression in sculpture. Since 2022, she has been exhibiting all over the world, combining her work in thestudio with the visual work of photography. 
She is currently based in Madrid.
